Knitting smiles!

As promised, here is a little bit of knitting. The top picture is the full view of a completed baby blanket. Complete except for blocking. I don't like to block. I'll leave it til the last possible moment. The next one is a close up of the design. You can't see it that well. It has squares and in the squares are hearts and rectangles. Some squares are blank.

The last picture is a picture of the yarn I ordered from Lion Brand Yarn. I have been waiting for the package for a long while and I'm so excited to finally get it! I had it out of the box and on the needles in less than 10 minutes! I think it is going to be very pretty and colorful. It is done on size 13 needles, so it will go very quickly. Two threads are carried at the same time, so it will also be very warm. It feels wonderful and soft. One strand is Cotton Ease and the other is Vanna's Choice Baby.
